Why do centres need to have been approved by CPCAB for online delivery to be eligible to deliver the new contract Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – BACP Approved Practitioner Qualification?

Centres offering the BACP APQ will deliver this qualification through blended delivery (mostly face-to-face but with a proportion of online delivery). As online / telephone counselling is now part of the professional landscape, BACP require it’s members to be competent in providing counselling through these mediums. It is felt that a proportion of online training delivery and online / telephone client hours during the placement will ensure that BACP’s training standards are met within this BACP approved qualification.
